Olive and Olive Oil Manufacturing Machinery

Whenever olive oil is produced, some kind of sampling is required to predict the quality of the final product by quickly treating a sample of olives. The Olive Fat Efficiency Analyser Set manufactured by MC2 Ingeniería y Sistemas, S.L. provides a fast and inexpensive mean to obtain a sample of oil, operating ecologically and in accordance with the world-wide known Abencor® system.

A full set of manuals and accessories is supplied besides the three main machines belonging to the system (Hammer mill, Thermo-mixer and Centrifugal machine), allowing the setting up of a complete laboratory. The full process is developed under the sight of the operator, by faithfully reproducing the work of an olive mill without addition of any solvent. The fat efficiency index attained is very near to the industrial efficiency to be achieved in the plant.

The quantity of olives needed to get a sample (about 1 kg) ensures full representativity regarding the load analysed. Oil is obtained in quantity enough to perform organoleptic and acidity tests.

Up to eight samples per hour can be attained with the basic equipment. Production may be increased with multiple arrangements. Simple and reliable, the Abencor® system has been world-wide used since its development in co-operation with the prestigous Instituto de la Grasa in Seville, Spain. Typical applications are as follows:

-Fat efficiency and acidity tests.
-Oil sampling.
-Industrial process control.
-Bromatology laboratories.
-Food quality control.
-Origin trade mark councils.
-Universities and research centres.

100-Series represents the last step in the continous developing process of our analysers. Important improvements have been introduced since the first sets were produced, back in the seventies. Many of these original units are still fully operative today.
